We have controlled demolition experts on audio and videotape confirming that the term 'pull it' is a controlled demolition term.

We have Danny Jowenko, who has nearly twenty years experience working in the field of controlled demolition, on videotape saying that Larry Silverstein's 'pull it' comments meant to bring the building down using explosives.

We have absolute proof that the government covered up the truth about Building 7.

Every individual that I've ever shown Building 7 evidence to in person have always been very interested in it and can't believe they've never heard about it before. Most people in the 9/11 truth movement usually say that the demolition of Building 7 is what convinced them that the government is lying about 9/11.

The mainstream media refuses to talk about Building 7. "

I'm not going to show any more "9/11 Truth" documentaries until the next anniversary. I've read enough (and seen enough documentaries) to conclude that a new investigation is called for -- direly.

The ranks of "Truthers" are growing. Some think it's essential to future peace in the Middle East.

Whether it is or not, my showing of 9/11 Press for Truth had only six people in attendance. It's a good thing, too, because the sound quality was awful.

9/11 Press for Truth is two documentaries in one. Its first part chronicles the experience of four women who lost husbands or sons at the World Trade Center. As the "Jersey Girls" they briefly became a media focus, insisting that the Bush administration was being too secretive and asking for explanations for inconsistencies in official announcements.

Midway through the film, the docu segues into the fact-finding work of Paul Thompson, who assembled an online document called the Complete 911 Timeline. The Timeline simply organizes and correlates documented news reportage on events before and after the attack, comparing what is known to have happened with what spokesmen for the Bush administration later say happened. This Website provides a two-page summary of some of the highlights of Thompson's work. It's all documented - with links to the major newspaper articles used as sources. Thompson's Timelines become the focus of the rest of the documentary, covering the run-up period to the 9/11 attack and moving forward to the War in Afghanistan.

Backers hail 9/11 theorist's speech, yet . . .

Professor Steven E. Jones, a physicist whose background includes work on nuclear fusion, Jones was put on leave by Brigham Young University in September after publishing a paper saying that the twin towers couldn't have collapsed solely as a result of the planes that rammed the upper floors on Sept. 11. The paper theorizes that explosives planted inside the building must have been involved and that the buildings' collapse was essentially a controlled demolition.

Speaking in Denver recently reported in DenverPost.com - Backers hail 9/11 theorist's speech: "A national poll by the Scripps Survey Center at Ohio University conducted in the summer found that more than a third of people questioned believed the government either planned the attacks or could have stopped them but didn't.

That has worried government officials enough that the State Department recently published a report titled 'The Top Sept. 11 Conspiracy Theories,' an effort to debunk many of them. Separately, the National Institute of Standards and Technology - the government arm that investigated why the towers collapsed - published a seven-page document in September that attempted to answer some of the skeptics.

'We've watched it gain momentum,' said Brent Blanchard, director of field operations for New Jersey-based Protec Documentation Services, which studies and monitors building demolitions.

'It's really been fascinating in a way,' he said. 'We've been able to watch the birth of the completely out-of-control allegations that could not be true for so many reasons.'

Among the most basic of those, Blanchard said, is that there's a consensus that the collapse of the towers began at or near the point where the planes entered the buildings, rather than at the base, where traditional demolition occurs. That means that the explosives would have had to survive the initial crash and superheated fires until they were detonated - for nearly an hour in the case of one tower, 102 minutes in the case of the other.

'That's absolutely impossible,' Blanchard said.

Beyond that, he said, planting the explosives in secret would have been an incredible logistical undertaking.

But to the growing Sept. 11 conspiracy movement, Jones provides what even advocates concede they had been lacking: a scientific approach backed up with meticulous data analysis and carefully devised experimental testing."

The Southern Illinoisan's Caleb Hale reports: Israeli consul wants story to be heard:

"The American people, through terrorism, have come to recognize a deep hatred for their own way of life, not unlike the hatred the Jews in Israel and across the world have experienced for more than a century, said Midwest Israeli Consul General Barukh Binah Wednesday during a discussion with The Southern Illinoisan.

'America has become a target not for what it does, but for what it is,' Binah said, speaking about the United States' current war on terror."

Is the statement in red true? I don't think so.

Hale reports

Binah said he can understand why some have trouble accepting that fanatical groups bring havoc to a nation simply because of who they are, but as the last century for the Jews indicates, it does happen.

"Simply the very idea of the United States in the eyes of zealots is an abomination," [Binah] said. "So just to say some of our opponents will disappear if we don't support Israel, that is not the case."

Binah said Israel, despite its troubles, is still a very strong country and one that is committed to peace. Hence, it is still a strong ally for America and the rest of the world, especially since many areas of the globe seem to now be experiencing the kind of intense hatred that has long been perpetrated against Jews.

Analyzing South Park's 9/11 Show

Someone named Bill Douglas Analyzes South Park's 9/11 Show:

"Last night I watched South Park in AMAZEMENT, as their character for the 9/11 truth movement wore a black shirt with '911TRUTH.ORG' in huge white letters that ALWAYS seemed to be facing the viewers. It got better, Cartman and his buddy actually got to the White House where Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al, confessed to the crimes of 9/11.

Then things descended, and it was all a hoax, and Bush et al said that actually they were the ones who created the 9/11 truth movement, to fool Americans into believing they controlled everything, and that all those tens of millions believing 9/11 was an inside job were fools manipulated by the smart Bush people.

So many possibilities emerge from this. "

Outside job

Tomorrow a lot of people are demonstrating in the spirit of impeaching President Bush, but I don't know if there are sufficient grounds. He didn't lie about having a blow job.

Not sure why this day was selected.

Some cities aren't issuing permits, citing "national security."

Here in Carbondale, Illinois, protest means standing on a street corner or w marching to the Interfaith Center or Federal Building. . . . But those days are gone, since the new security issues have passed. Everybody's suspicious and fearful.

One of the most high-profile scholars, tenured BYU Professor Steven E. Jones, was put on paid leave, while BYU administrators determine what to do about him. He wrote a scholarly paper that demonstrates that thermate charges are what actually brought three (count 'em 3) buildings to free fall to the ground, one after another, within seconds.

The suspension of duties came on the heels of a recently published blatant lie by Jonathon Moseley, executive director of the U.S. Seaports Commission, who wrote a piece in WorldNetDaily: 9/11 Bush bashers: which contained this "Editor's note, Aug. 17, 2006: In paragraph four of this column, the author makes an assertion about professor Steven Jones' remarks at a 9/11 symposium broadcast by C-SPAN. A review of the program online evidenced no such comments by Jones.

Moseley wrote: "When asked if violent revolution was necessary, this scientist declared – in front of national TV cameras – that there is no peaceful way to achieve the group's goals. In the context of the question, professor Jones was calling for the violent overthrow of the government."

It's still there in the article, despite the fact that the Editor found no evidence. Jones' entire presentation on CSPAN can be found at the top link.

A web page devoted to Steven Jones quotes him: "'Things have changed some around here you may have heard, but I’m still working hard!!'"

9/11 Press for Truth: Volunteer

Press for Truth

911Blogger.com blog shouts: Attention Chicago! "9/11 Press for Truth" free screening 9/13/2006. The link has an informative review of the film, inspired by the four New Jersey widows whose husbands died in the 9/11 crashes. Their demands resulted in the first 9/11 Commission report, which turned out to be a whitewash. The facts presented in Press for Truth can be found in the definitive 9/11 Timeline.

If no one else does, I'll try arrange a showing of Press for Truth here in Carbondale . . . at the Big Muddy Independent Media Center, or the Student Center, or at one of the houses of worship in the area. Since it's factual (unlike the recent ABC-Disney fictionalized version) a showing in the Civic Center; or at local schools could be arranged.

The producers of 9/11: Press for Truth were on CSPAN yesterday. They want the film to spur a movement for an impartial Investigation into the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001.

Worth a listen to hear Jason Bermas, researcher for "Loose Change" say to James Meigs, (editor-in-chief of Popular Mechanics, and one of the authors of "Debunking 911 Myths"), "I'm not calling anybody a liar, sir. . . . I'm calling you a liar." The kids were passionate and made their case, once the cell phone argument was dropped. Their case is this: Don't take their word for it. Review the evidence on your own.
